I bought my first laptop in 1996 to U.S. $ 2,000 (Dell laptops with Intel P1-250MHz), then another in 2002 for $ 1,500 U.S. (Dell Inspiron laptop P4-2000MHz/512-ram) and this is now my third laptop, the Acer Aspire One Intel Atom N270 531H AOP (1,600 MHz), 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, integrated webcam, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for only $ 350US -> WoW!
I bought this last week of September 11, 2009. It 'was a choice and it cost me about 350usd. So far I'm happywith a total built, function and performance. I think this little netbook is very good. I was a bit 'worried, with 3-cell Li-on battery that came with it. But I was wrong and I found the battery will provide enough time for me online. I use it with Bluetooth and WiFi, and was performed for 1 hour, and I can also go to 1.5hr left. I think the battery may take a little 'more if you turn off Bluetooth and WiFi.
Only negative comments arethis netbook are as follows: (1) the hot netbook 60min ~ 45min left for use. (2) constructed from the board, feels cheap and the DC-lived.
My first Acer PDA, and this is my second Acer Netbook product. So far I'm happy with Acer
